The short version
PRISM Tax Intelligence is a tax preparation and tax decision-support practice. Information you give us as a prospective or existing client is treated as confidential and is never sent to advertising or analytics platforms. Google receives aggregate measurement about pages and clicks — never your name, email address, telephone number, message contents, tax details, or financial details.
Information we collect
Information you provide. Name, email address, optional telephone number, and the message you write when you use a contact form; account details and documents you upload to a secure PRISM workspace; and information exchanged in the course of an engagement.
Information collected automatically. Pages viewed, referring page, browser user agent, approximate general location derived from your network address by our analytics providers, and interaction events such as which buttons were clicked. This is stored in PRISM's own backend and, where you have allowed it, in Google Analytics.
Payments. Card details are entered with Stripe and are never held by PRISM.
What we send to analytics and advertising platforms
Only the following leaves the site for Google. Everything else is first-party measurement stored in PRISM's backend.
| Event | Trigger | Data sent | Destination |
|---|---|---|---|
| page_view | A page loads or the route changes | Page path and title (query strings and fragments removed) | Google Analytics |
| book_appointment_click | You click through to the booking calendar | Which surface was clicked and the destination name | Google Analytics / Google Ads |
| phone_cta_clicked | You click the PRISM phone link | Which surface was clicked and the page path | PRISM backend only |
| form_started / form_submitted / form_failed | You begin or send a contact form | A form identifier and, on failure, a reason code — never field contents | PRISM backend only |
| Product and reading events | Navigating PRISM tools and Library articles | Page path, section, and interaction labels | PRISM backend only |
Web addresses reported to Google are stripped of URL fragments and of every query parameter other than campaign tags, so tokens contained in links (unsubscribe links, workspace invitations, sign-in callbacks) cannot reach an analytics platform.
PRISM does not use session recording, screen replay, heatmaps, or keystroke capture, and no such third-party library is installed. Partially completed form fields are never transmitted anywhere.
Your choices and consent
PRISM uses Google Consent Mode. Before you choose, analytics and advertising storage are denied, no analytics cookies are set, and Google receives only an anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed. If you decline, that state remains and no further analytics hits are sent. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics cookies are set and the events listed above are sent.
We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal. When your browser sends it, PRISM treats it as an opt-out, does not ask you again, and keeps analytics and advertising storage denied. PRISM does not respond to the older Do Not Track header, which has no agreed standard.

California privacy rights
This policy is posted in accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act, which requires commercial websites collecting personal information from California residents to disclose the categories collected, the parties with whom they are shared, how changes are announced, and how the site responds to browser privacy signals.
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, applies to PRISM, California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, and may direct that it not be sold or shared. PRISM does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and does not discriminate against anyone exercising a privacy right. Requests can be made using the contact details below.
Retention and security
Site measurement records are retained for as long as they remain useful for understanding site performance. Client records are retained for the period required for professional and tax recordkeeping obligations. Access to client information is restricted, workspace documents are held in access-controlled storage, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Children
PRISM's services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
